Data Warehouse Developer III

You will design, develop, and maintain complex data warehouse models and processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop design specifications and implement large-scale data models and processes.
• Manage the full project development life cycle, including planning, analysis, design, coding, testing, and implementation.
• Perform requirements gathering and translate customer needs into technical documentation.
• Execute data analysis and performance tuning to optimize warehouse operations.
• Develop test plans, test cases, and procedures to identify defects and implement quality assurance processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data warehouse design and development.
• Proficiency with IDMC (Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud) and Informatica PowerCenter.
• Experience programming mainframe applications using COBOL and DB2 databases.
• Strong understanding of Kimball data warehouse design principles and dimensional data modeling.
• Experience working with slowly changing dimensions and relational databases like Oracle.
• Ability to navigate and query relational databases to develop reports.
• Skilled in technical writing, documentation, and creating design specifications.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and MS Visio.
• Knowledge of State of Wisconsin Privacy Regulations.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Tableau or other dashboarding tools.
• Experience with Business Objects or other BI tools.
• Experience designing and utilizing performance measures and reports.
