Description

You will design, build, and maintain data warehouse solutions, focusing on dimensional modeling, ETL development, and SQL Server optimization.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze source systems to profile data, determining availability, quality, and extraction logic.
• Design dimensional models and star schemas using Kimball methodology to support analytics and reporting.
• Develop and optimize SQL Server data marts, including tables, views, stored procedures, and indexes.
• Build, schedule, and monitor SSIS ETL packages to load data marts reliably and efficiently.
• Manage database projects in Visual Studio with GIT source control for versioned, repeatable deployments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data warehouse development and SQL Server database engineering.
• Strong expertise in SSIS for ETL development and data integration.
• Proven ability to design dimensional models and star schemas (Kimball methodology).
• Proficiency in SQL Server database development, including stored procedures and indexing.
• Experience with Visual Studio database projects and GIT for source control and collaboration.
• Ability to create detailed data mapping documents that translate business rules into technical specifications.
• Data validation testing skills to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with business rules.

Preferred Skills

• Experience creating basic dashboards or visualizations using Power BI or Tableau.
