Description

You will manage the end-to-end data lifecycle within a mainframe environment, focusing on healthcare data integration and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Extract large datasets from various sources, cleanse the data, and prepare it for loading into the data warehouse.
• Execute full system development life cycle functions, including project planning, requirements analysis, coding, testing, and implementation.
• Develop and maintain production reports using statistical reporting tools for large volume databases.
• Apply healthcare data standards and HIPAA transaction protocols to ensure data integrity and compliance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Cobol and mainframe systems.
• 5+ years of experience in data warehouse processing, including large-scale file extraction and cleansing.
• 5+ years of experience as an analyst-programmer managing the full SDLC.
• 5+ years of data analysis experience within the healthcare industry.
• 5+ years of experience using SAS or similar statistical reporting tools for large databases.
• 2+ years of experience with HIPAA Transactions and Code set standards (835, 837, and NCPDP).
• 2+ years of experience working with Business Objects.
• Working knowledge of paid and denied claims, diagnosis codes, procedure codes, and PHI privacy standards.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate qualification.
