Description

Own the implementation and management of Linux-based data warehousing infrastructure, including ETL processes and system architecture improvements.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage Linux-based infrastructure and processes for data warehousing.
• Identify and execute system and architecture improvements.
• Enhance Linux-based toolsets, scripts, and data load/extract processes.
• Develop and maintain automation using Shell, Python, and Perl.
• Collaborate within an Agile framework to deliver reliable data solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Warehouse Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in Shell Scripting and Oracle development.
• Practical experience in Linux environment setup, Unix file systems, permissions, and standard tools.
• Working knowledge of Python and preferably Perl.
• Experience with relational databases, preferably Oracle Exadata.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related field.

Preferred Skills

• Practical experience with ETL tools, preferably Informatica.
• Experience using orchestration tools like Airflow with Python.
