Description

You will design, implement, and optimize Linux-based data warehousing infrastructure and ETL processes.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage Linux-based infrastructure, toolsets, and automation scripts for data warehousing.
• Identify and execute system and architectural improvements to enhance data flow reliability.
• Develop and maintain ETL, database load, and extract processes using Shell and Python.
• Configure and optimize Oracle Exadata environments and relational database structures.
• Collaborate within Agile teams to deliver data solutions and document technical improvements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Warehouse Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in Shell Scripting and Unix system administration (mount types, permissions, pipes).
• Practical experience with Oracle databases, specifically Oracle Exadata.
• Working knowledge of Python and Perl for automation and scripting.
• Proven track record in Data Warehousing concepts and data flow management.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related field.
• Experience working in Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Practical experience with ETL tools, preferably Informatica.
• Experience using orchestration tools, preferably Airflow with Python.
