Description

You will own the end-to-end validation of data extraction, transformation, and loading processes within our warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive test plans and design test scenarios, cases, and scripts for ETL processes and BI tools.
  • Verify data accuracy, completeness, and quality throughout the ETL lifecycle and perform data reconciliation between source and target systems.
  • Validate reports, dashboards, and analytics to ensure they meet technical requirements and display correct information.
  • Identify, document, and manage defects in collaboration with developers and stakeholders.
  • Design and execute automated test scripts to increase testing efficiency and repeatability.

Required Skills

  • 6+ years of experience in ETL testing and BI testing (functional, integration, and data).
  • Expert-level SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries.
  • Strong experience with RDBMS including SQL Server and SAP HANA.
  • Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Tableau, QlikView, Business Objects, or PowerBI.
  • Proficiency with SQL query tools, Excel, JIRA, QTest, and API testing.
  • Experience testing data models, database design, data mining, and data quality.
  • Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with ETL/BI automation tools such as ICEDQ, TOSCA DI, IDQ, or Informatica.
