Description

You will own the stability and resolution of production data warehouse environments, ensuring minimal downtime and rapid incident recovery.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot production issues in Linux-based enterprise data warehouse environments (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
• Perform root cause analysis on system failures, logs, and diagnostics to prevent recurrence.
• Manage daily IT operations, maintaining system health and resolving escalations.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to deploy fixes and monitor system performance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional IT operations experience with strong Linux/command-line fundamentals.
• Solid working SQL knowledge for querying and diagnosing database issues.
• Experience with enterprise data warehouse platforms such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Snowflake data warehousing solutions.
• Familiarity with deployment automation tools (Git, SALT) and scripting (Python).
• Experience with Java application environments (Apache, Tomcat, JBoss, NGINX) or the ELK stack.
