Description

Own data warehouse testing, ETL quality engineering, and release administration for Azure-based environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create source-to-target comparison test cases in SQL and maintain traceability matrices.
• Develop and execute test plans, closure reports, and automated test scripts using PySpark and Python.
• Manage release activities, including importing and exporting ETL jobs across DEV, QA, and PROD environments.
• Perform ETL troubleshooting, debugging, and optimization while monitoring environment health.
• Establish and maintain user privileges, roles, and backup/recovery operations for ETL tools.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of data warehouse testing or developer experience.
• Expert-level SQL for complex query validation and test case creation.
• Proficiency in PySpark and Python for data processing and automation.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, Data Factory, and DevOps.
• Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica and automation tools like Tosca or Autosys.
• Familiarity with Mainframe technologies including COBOL, EBCDIC, and Copybooks.
• Strong understanding of Agile Kanban and Scrum methodologies.
• Proficient with GitHub, JIRA, and Excel Macros.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Azure certifications (AZ-900, DP-900, DP-203).
• Experience administering IBM Database and ETL tools.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
