Description

You will design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes to move data from legacy systems into the data warehouse.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Extract data from legacy systems and transform it for compatibility with Workday HCM.
• Define and document data field mappings between legacy systems and Workday data structures.
• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes to load data from multiple sources into the warehouse.
• Monitor ETL pipelines for performance, troubleshooting bottlenecks and optimizing data processing workflows.
• Maintain detailed documentation covering data mapping, transformation rules, and validation procedures.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in data conversion/ETL projects.
• At least 3 years migrating data from legacy systems to Workday HCM.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, including T-SQL statements and stored procedures.
• Proven experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or SSIS.
• Hands-on knowledge of data extraction, transformation, loading, and quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of Workday's data structures related to the HCM module.
• Experience in data integration from structured and unstructured sources.
• Familiarity with SSRS and SSAS for reporting.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to analyze data, identify issues, and validate data accuracy against defined standards.
