You will manage the lifecycle of production database systems, ensuring high availability and performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and manage MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and SQL Server in on-prem and cloud environments.
• Monitor database performance, tune queries, manage indexing, and oversee replication.
• Implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions, including failover mechanisms.
• Handle production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and execute restore drills.
• Automate routine DBA tasks using scripting and scheduling tools.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience in database administration.
• Expertise with MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and SQL Server.
• Experience managing backups, recovery strategies, and performing database upgrades, patching, and migrations.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices related to database operations.
• Ability to implement and enforce database security policies, including access control, encryption, and auditing.
• Proficiency in creating and maintaining operational runbooks and SOPs.
