Description

Manage and support database environments including MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL for L2 operations. You will ensure system availability, performance, and security across on-site infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, patch, and upgrade database instances.
• Monitor database health and performance to meet SLAs.
• Troubleshoot incidents, resolve performance issues, and optimize queries.
• Manage backup, recovery, replication, clustering, and high availability setups.
• Handle user management, access control, and security configurations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration.
• Proficiency in MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with performance tuning and indexing strategies.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery planning and execution.
• Ability to maintain SOPs, runbooks, and technical documentation.
• Collaboration skills for working with application and infrastructure teams.
• Support for release activities, deployments, and schema changes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automated monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with scripting for database automation.
