Description

You will provide operational support for Oracle databases hosted in enterprise data centers and distributed locations.

Responsibilities

• Manage Oracle database installations, configurations, patching, and version upgrades across multiple platforms.
• Perform full-stack performance tuning, specifically SQL tuning using OEM, AWR, and OS monitoring utilities.
• Execute backup and recovery operations using RMAN, TSMP/TDPO, Veeam, and ZDLRA.
• Configure and manage Data Guard switchover and failover events.
• Support application teams with schema deployment, maintenance, and the evaluation of new database features.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Oracle database administration.
• Expertise in Oracle installations, patching, and configurations.
• Proficiency in RMAN backup and point-in-time recovery.
• Experience with TSMP/TDPO, Veeam, and ZDLRA backup solutions.
• Strong SQL tuning skills using a data-driven approach.
• Hands-on experience with RAC and ExaCC.
• Ability to manage Data Guard DR environments.
• Knowledge of OS and DB security constructs.
• Experience setting up OEM monitors and alerts.

Preferred Skills

• Interest in learning architectural principles and application hosting.
