Description

You will design and implement complex database architectures for high-volume transaction systems. You own the performance analysis and tuning of large database applications and systems. You manage cloud services across platforms including Microsoft Azure, configuring virtual machines, storage, networking, VPN, and security policies to meet scalability and security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex database architecture.
• Analyze and tune performance for high-volume transaction systems.
• Manage cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, including VMs, storage, and security policies.
• Develop front-end applications and websites using HTML, CSS, ASP.NET, and VB.NET.
• Implement enterprise technologies including caching, locking, failover, and encryption.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of database administration experience.
• Bachelor’s in Information Systems Management or Software Engineering (or Master’s with 3+ years experience).
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, ASP, ASP.NET, VB.NET, XML, XSL, XSLT, JavaScript, and AJAX.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, including VM setup, storage, networking, and security policies.
• Working knowledge of LDAP, HTTP, iCAL, and RSS standards.
• Systems analysis and design for secure web-based and database application development.
• Prototyping web applications with a focus on security and usability.
