Description

You will manage and support large-scale Oracle database environments in a remote capacity. You will perform advanced performance tuning on complex processes within multi-terabyte databases featuring heavy transaction volumes. You will install Oracle Database 19c, Oracle RAC, and Golden Gate to establish new database tiers. You will execute capacity planning for ERP upgrade projects. You will manage standard administration tasks including backup, recovery, monitoring, and troubleshooting. You will coordinate with project teams to estimate work, set deadlines, and prioritize tasks according to project schedules.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced performance tuning on multi-terabyte databases with heavy transaction volumes.
• Install and configure Oracle Database 19c, Oracle RAC, and Golden Gate.
• Execute capacity planning for ERP upgrade projects.
• Manage standard administration tasks including backup, recovery, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with project teams to estimate work, set deadlines, and prioritize tasks.

Required Skills

• 8 years of experience with Oracle Database 12c or higher.
• 8 years of experience with Oracle RAC.
• 8 years of experience with Golden Gate.
• 8 years of experience with advanced SQL.
• 8 years of experience with Shell scripting.
• 8 years of experience supporting multi-terabyte databases.
• 8 years of experience in advanced performance tuning.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oracle PeopleSoft ERP or CAPPS HCM/Financials.
• Experience working with public sector organizations (Federal, State, or Local Government).
• Familiarity with Jira, Scrum framework, Tivoli, or SharePoint.
