Description

You will manage the lifecycle of database systems, migrating legacy data to modern cloud platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, refactor, and migrate legacy Microsoft Access databases to cloud-native SQL platforms (Azure SQL, AWS RDS).
• Design and implement scalable, normalized relational database schemas.
• Build and monitor ETL pipelines using SSIS, Azure Data Factory, or AWS DMS.
• Perform data validation, integrity checks, and performance tuning on production databases.
• Execute backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of proven experience with advanced MS Access databases (normalized tables, queries, forms, reports, VBA).
• 10+ years of expert-level database design, normalization, ER modeling, and schema refactoring.
• 10+ years of experience migrating legacy systems to cloud-based SQL platforms (Azure, AWS, PostgreSQL, etc.).
• 8+ years of hands-on experience with ETL tools like SSIS, Azure Data Factory, or AWS DMS.
• 8+ years of skill with RDBMS tools (SSMS, TOAD, SQL Developer).
• 8+ years of experience configuring and monitoring data pipelines and batch jobs.
• 8+ years of experience with complex data migrations and validation.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CI/CD, GitHub, JIRA.
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau for reporting/visualization.
