Description

Manage and maintain DB2 LUW environments across development, QA, training, and production.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Plan, document, and execute database upgrades, migrations, and new environment setups.
• Design upgrade strategies including checklists, milestones, and fallback procedures.
• Maintain DB2 LUW environments and assist with OS and database patching.
• Support developers with database design, testing, and efficient SQL coding.
• Document entity types and relationships using Erwin ER diagrams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years as a Database Administrator.
• 5+ years of experience with Structured Query Language (SQL).
• 3+ years of experience with DB2 LUW.
• 3+ years of experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• 3+ years of experience with Relational Data Modeling.
• 1+ years of experience with Erwin.
• 1+ years of experience with Java.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with COBOL, IBM DataQuant, DBI Software, and WebSphere.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduation.
