Description

You manage, maintain, and secure SQL Server, Snowflake, and AWS database environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor SQL Server performance, conduct daily checks, and troubleshoot issues including network latency and blocking.
• Manage OLTP and OLAP environments, including Snowflake and Power BI administration.
• Execute database upgrades, patching, and validations to ensure security and version support.
• Automate manual tasks and alerts using Python or Node.js to improve operational efficiency.
• Enforce ISO security requirements, conduct access audits, and report user access anomalies.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in database configuration and management.
• 7+ years of experience in performance tuning, scripting, automation, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with SQL Servers and RDS.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and AWS services including S3, Aurora, and DynamoDB.
• Experience configuring data management on AWS using Glue, AWS Data Zone, Glue Data Catalog, API Gateway, and Lambda.
• Strong scripting capabilities in Python or Node.js.
• Proficiency with GitHub, Jenkins, and AWS Code Pipeline.
• Experience with database monitoring and security enforcement.
