Description

You will manage database and platform administration for cloud analytics environments and data quality tools in Albany, NY.

Responsibilities

• Research and implement technical designs for complex database architectures.
• Manage database security, integrity, access permissions, and backup processes.
• Monitor database performance, lead incident management, and report usage trends.
• Support end users with table creation, indexing, view creation, and troubleshooting.
• Document program code, technical designs, and system processes.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in database and schema architecture, SQL coding, and debugging.
• 7+ years of experience with PL/SQL, normalization, and database optimization.
• 7+ years of experience implementing secure databases using encryption, decryption algorithms, and security APIs.
• 4+ years of experience monitoring database performance and leading problem management.
• 4+ years of experience managing database access and permissions.
• 4+ years of experience in cloud environments, specifically AWS or GCP.
• 4+ years of experience in cloud-native design, including containerization, API-first, serverless, and microservices.

Preferred Skills

• Any Graduate degree.
