Description

You will manage database architecture, security, and performance within cloud and hybrid environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain database schemas, SQL coding, and PL/SQL development.
• Implement data security using encryption, decryption algorithms, and security APIs.
• Monitor database usage and performance to lead incident and problem management.
• Manage database access, permissions, and established security procedures.
• Develop cloud-native designs incorporating containerization, serverless, and microservices architecture.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in database/schema architecture and SQL coding.
• 7+ years of experience with PL/SQL, normalization, and database optimization.
• 7+ years of experience implementing transport and message layer security.
• 4+ years of experience in cloud/hybrid infrastructure, specifically AWS or GCP.
• 4+ years of experience in cloud-native database design, including containerization and API-first approaches.
• 4+ years of experience in incident management and performance monitoring.
• Proficiency with Oracle and SQL.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
