Description

You will manage and maintain high availability, critical production database systems. Responsibilities include installing, building, and maintaining database structures across Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Cassandra. You will execute backup and recovery operations, apply patches, and perform version upgrades. Monitor database health and perform query and performance tuning. Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation for production support and develop technical documentation.

Responsibilities

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in database administration for high availability production systems.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle 19c, including Oracle RAC and Oracle Data Guard.
• Proficiency in SQL Server (2014, 2016, or 2019).
• Experience managing PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Cassandra instances.
• Proven expertise in database design, monitoring, and performance tuning.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Oracle certification.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
