Description

You manage and maintain DB2 LUW environments across development, QA, training, and production stages.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute database upgrades, migrations, and new environment setups.
• Design upgrade strategies with checklists, milestones, and fallback procedures.
• Develop complex SQL statements for ETL data migration processes.
• Review SQL performance with application developers and recommend index optimizations.
• Document entity relationships using Erwin Entity Relationship Diagrams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator.
• 5+ years of experience with Structured Query Language (SQL).
• 3+ years managing DB2 LUW environments.
• 3+ years of experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• 1+ year of experience with Relational Data Modeling.
• 1+ year of experience using Erwin.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to work non-business hours, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Skills

• Experience patching operating systems and database systems.
