Description

You will manage, maintain, and optimize DB2 database environments, ensuring performance, integrity, and security.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize DB2 database applications and environments.
• Analyze functions and resolve data issues to provide application support.
• Design and implement new database solutions to improve functionality.
• Perform updates, maintenance, and troubleshooting for existing database applications.
• Develop shell scripts to automate database maintenance tasks.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of DB2 Database experience.
• 3+ years of experience working on AIX, Unix, or Linux platforms.
• 3+ years of Shell Programming and scripting experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate with developers, system administrators, and business users.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• 5 years of DB2 Z/OS experience.
