Description

Manage and optimize database systems to ensure stability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Optimize database performance using established tuning techniques and tools.
• Develop scripts, tables, views, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and constraints.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain database systems.
• Manage migrations for both data and systems into production environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with MS SQL Server and Oracle.
• 5+ years of experience developing SQL objects including triggers and stored procedures.
• 5+ years of experience in database performance tuning.
• 5+ years of experience in database installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• 5+ years of experience managing production migrations.
• Proficiency with Oracle and SQL.

Preferred Skills

• 2+ years of TxDOTCONNECT solution experience.
• 2+ years of data modeling experience.
