Description

You will manage and support Oracle Exadata and MSSQL Server environments, leading cloud migration and performance optimization efforts.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Manage Oracle Exadata and MSSQL Server Enterprise environments, including installation, configuration, and software maintenance.
• Perform performance tuning, ASM/storage management, and database search strategy implementation to optimize processing.
• Design logical and physical relational database models and execute data modeling and prototyping.
• Execute security, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and system availability.
• Coordinate database loads, reorganizations, and the creation of test environments and libraries.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in computer systems analysis or computer programming.
• Expertise in Oracle database management on Exadata systems.
• Hands-on experience with MSSQL Server Enterprise.
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience with Shell scripting.
• Experience with AWS cloud environments.
• Knowledge of database structures, theories, and systems design principles.
• Ability to perform logical and physical data modeling.
• Experience with disaster recovery planning and execution.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of EIR Accessibility standards and assistive technologies.
