You will own logical database administration and support for the TIERS applications portfolio.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain database solutions for the TIERS applications portfolio.
• Perform advanced logical database administration, including performance monitoring and tuning.
• Develop Linux shell scripts to automate day-to-day LDBA tasks and document processes.
• Build Enterprise CI/CD workflows for database automation using Jenkins.
• Provide application and database operations triage, including on-call support for production environments.

Required Skills

• 8+ years implementing, administering, and monitoring application databases in production and non-production environments.
• 8+ years developing and optimizing Oracle SQL and PL/SQL code.
• 8+ years with DB automation aligned with Enterprise CI/CD workflows using Jenkins or similar orchestrators.
• 8+ years supporting cross-functional teams to optimize application/query performance by identifying data constraints.
• 8+ years in-depth knowledge of Oracle internal views, functions, and architecture (Tablespace, DBMS reorg, partition/index analysis).
• 8+ years analyzing and resolving complex issues in Oracle 11/19c databases across development and production.
• 8+ years monitoring and fine-tuning SQL/PL/SQL on Oracle databases running on Solaris/Linux.
• 8+ years using Erwin Modeling tool to create data models from scratch.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Sql Server alongside Oracle.
