Description

You will manage and optimize MS SQL Server environments to ensure data availability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, and manage MS SQL Server versions from 2008R through 2019.
• Configure database clusters, high availability, replication, log shipping, and disaster recovery protocols.
• Optimize performance through query tuning, indexing, capacity planning, and resolving deadlocks or bottlenecks.
• Automate repetitive tasks and develop SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) tasks.
• Manage database security, access permissions, and maintenance plans for backup and recovery.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration.
• Expertise in MS SQL Server (2008R, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2019).
• Hands-on experience with SSIS for ETL processes.
• Proficiency in database optimization and performance monitoring.
• Experience managing metadata and data dictionaries.
• Ability to perform data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Strong knowledge of database security authentication and access control.
