Description

You will manage and maintain SQL Server environments, focusing on upgrades, high availability, and disaster recovery.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Upgrade SQL Server 2017 to 2022 on virtualized infrastructure.
• Maintain and configure High Availability and Clustering solutions using Hyper-V or VMware.
• Manage SQL Server components including SSRS, SSIS, and Analysis Services.
• Implement and maintain hybrid disaster recovery strategies.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of MS SQL Server DBA experience.
• Proven experience upgrading SQL Server 2017 to 2022.
• Proficiency writing T-SQL and PowerShell scripts.
• Experience with Hyper-V and VMware virtualization.
• Knowledge of Cluster Name Objects (CNO) in HA setups.
• Experience with Windows Server 2022.
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server licensing options.
• Experience with VM backup and snapshot strategies.
• Knowledge of Active Directory and delegating rights to service accounts.
