Description

You will design, maintain, and optimize relational and NoSQL database environments, ensuring high availability and performance across MySQL, MongoDB, and SQL Server systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, and migrate MySQL servers, applying service packs, hotfixes, and security patches.
• Manage MongoDB environments by implementing TTL policies, index optimization, sizing, and buffer tuning.
• Execute administrative tasks in SQL Server using PowerShell scripts.
• Handle database backup, recovery, and new server setups within Unix environments.
• Optimize SQL queries and manage collection data time durations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration.
• Proficiency with MySQL Server installation and migration.
• Experience managing MongoDB, including query optimization and sizing.
• Ability to perform administrative tasks in SQL Server via PowerShell.
• Working knowledge of Unix operating systems.
• Understanding of Advanced Computer Architecture.
• Knowledge of Computer Networking principles.
• Competency in Computer Programming.
• Strong grasp of Data Structures.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree in Science, Technology, or Engineering.
