Description

You will manage, maintain, and secure SQL Server and Oracle database environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and migrate SQL Server and Oracle databases, including version upgrades.
• Manage high availability using AOAG for SQL Server and DataGuard for Oracle, including switchover and switchback testing.
• Execute database hardening, patching, and vulnerability remediation to ensure system security.
• Respond to database incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement performance tuning.
• Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and inventory for all database server installations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Database Administration.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle.
• Proficiency in configuring Backup-Restore scripts.
• Experience with database instance hardening and patching.
• Ability to perform database migrations and version upgrades.
• Experience managing change and release processes.
• Proven ability to handle incident and problem management within SLA requirements.
