You will manage, monitor, and optimize AWS Aurora MySQL database environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor AWS Aurora MySQL clusters to ensure system integrity.
• Optimize database performance through indexing and query tuning.
• Implement high availability, replication, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Execute database security protocols including encryption and access control.
• Automate administrative tasks using scripting languages.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in MySQL database administration.
• Hands-on experience managing AWS Aurora MySQL clusters.
• Proficiency with AWS services including RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, and Backup & Restore.
• Strong knowledge of database design and query optimization.
• Experience with Python or Shell scripting for automation.
• Knowledge of high availability and replication setups.
• Understanding of database security best practices.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
