Description

Manage and administer enterprise database servers, overseeing installation, configuration, and deployment across Oracle and SQL Server environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and deploy enterprise databases on Oracle or SQL Server platforms.
• Migrate databases from on-premise environments to AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
• Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, monitoring, and optimization.
• Execute administrative tasks including patching, maintenance plan creation, and cloud technology utilization.
• Develop stored procedures, packages, views, and functions for Oracle and MS SQL Server.

Required Skills

• Experience with SQL Server or Oracle Database Server.
• Proficiency in MS SQL Server.
• Knowledge of AWS cloud technologies.
• Knowledge of Azure cloud technologies.
• Ability to use BI reporting tools within Oracle or MS SQL Server.
• Capability to travel to or relocate to unanticipated client sites throughout the USA.

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, Engineering, or a related field with 6 months of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree in those fields with 5 years of progressive experience.
