Key Skills: HANA Database security, SAP HANA

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform SAP HANA installation, administration, patching, and upgrade activities, including HANA 1.0 to HANA 2.0 and HANA 2.0 MDC end-to-end.
• Maintain backups using Backint in HANA Studio; execute backup recovery and point-in-time recovery for both MDC and Non-MDC systems.
• Manage maintenance window operations by stopping/starting HANA database for single-tenant and multi-tenant systems.
• Monitor HANA using HANA Studio alerts; conduct system health checks and troubleshoot issues by analyzing trace files.
• Handle operational governance including license application, audit log management/enablement, trace enablement, parameter configuration changes, and user/role administration.

Skills Required:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP HANA DBA.
• SAP HANA database security and administration for production environments.
• Strong understanding of HANA system architecture, including single-tenant and multi-tenant operations.
• Linux operating system knowledge and operational troubleshooting (CPU/memory utilization and performance issues).
• Backup/restore and recovery procedures using Backint in HANA Studio, including point-in-time recovery; monitoring and alert handling in HANA Studio.

Good to Have:

• Experience with HANA 2.0 MDC deployments and DB client upgrades.

Education : Bachelor's degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or IT training (or career changer with IT affinity and relevant experience)
