Description

Manage and maintain Microsoft SQL Server environments, ensuring high availability, security, and performance for production systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, and patch Microsoft SQL Server instances and service packs.
• Design and execute backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Administer database security, including user management, roles, and access control.
• Troubleshoot production incidents by analyzing SQL Server logs and system health metrics.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of experience as an MS SQL Database Administrator.
• Proficiency in SQL Server installation, configuration, and upgrade processes.
• Hands-on experience with backup, restore, and disaster recovery operations.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server security models and user access control.

Preferred Skills

• Relevant degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
