Description

You will lead the security, availability, maintenance, and support of a large SQL Server environment consisting of approximately 8 databases and 46 instances. You will design, develop, and maintain databases, procedures, and functions to ensure scalability, performance, and recoverability.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the SQL environment to ensure secure services with minimum downtime.
• Manage routine operations including installations, upgrades, patching, monitoring, and auditing.
• Troubleshoot and triage issues to drive root cause identification and resolution.
• Act as a liaison for SQL Server security, performance, integration, migration, and replication strategies.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in RDBMS, SQL Server, T-SQL, Backup/Recovery, and Performance Tuning.
• 6+ years of experience with Database Administration and SQL Tuning.
• 4-6 years of experience with Failover Clusters and High-Availability.
• 4-6 years of experience with DMVs and Profiler.
• 2-4 years of experience with SSRS, Database planning, scaling, and capacity planning.
• 3+ years of experience with SQL Server 2019 and 1+ years with SQL Server 2022.
• 2-4 years of experience with SSIS, ETL, SSAS, RedGate Toolset, and SDLC.
• 1-2 years of experience with PowerShell.
• Bachelor's degree.
