Description

You will manage and support critical production database environments across DB2, SQL Server, and Teradata.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour production support for critical system issues.
• Execute DB2 z/OS upgrades and coordinate with vendors and internal teams.
• Install and configure Always On HA and DR solutions using Windows Server Failover Clustering.
• Perform performance tuning for database systems on z/OS and Windows platforms.
• Lead data modeling efforts and mentor junior DBAs on best practices.

Required Skills

• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Database Administrator.
• Expertise in DB2, SQL Server, and Teradata.
• Extensive experience with DB2 z/OS and version upgrades.
• Proven experience configuring Always On HA and DR on Windows Server Failover Clustering.
• Strong background in database and application performance tuning.
• Experience leading data modeling initiatives and providing technical guidance.

Preferred Skills

• Experience conducting Root Cause Analysis for incidents and implementing preventative measures.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
