Description

You will manage and support Oracle database environments across production, development, and test environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Oracle 11g, 12c, 19c, and 21c RAC databases on Linux using ASM and Data Guard.
• Develop and automate backup and recovery plans to ensure efficient data restoration.
• Perform database refreshes and restores using Data Pump and RMAN utilities.
• Install and configure Oracle Clusterware and apply quarterly security patches, including CPU/PSU and one-off patches.
• Monitor storage space, disk usage, and network performance, and collaborate with system administrators to tune database servers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration.
• Expertise with Oracle Clusterware, ASM, and Data Guard.
• Proficiency with RMAN utilities and Data Pump.
• Experience managing Oracle 11g, 12c, 19c, and 21c RAC on Linux.
• Ability to perform database restores and recoveries during crashes or media failures.
• Experience with data mapping and transformations for target loading.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in any graduate field.
