Description

You will manage, optimize, and secure enterprise-level database solutions across SQL and NoSQL platforms.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Cassandra.
• Monitor performance, implement tuning strategies, and troubleshoot complex database issues.
• Develop and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies to ensure data integrity.
• Automate routine DBA tasks and implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain strict security standards.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of DBA experience in production environments.
• Expertise in SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL administration.
• Hands-on experience with NoSQL platforms including MongoDB, Cassandra, and DynamoDB.
• Strong knowledge of backup/recovery, clustering, and replication strategies.
• Proven experience with performance tuning and query optimization.
• Familiarity with cloud-hosted databases such as AWS RDS, Azure SQL, or Google Cloud SQL.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
