Manage and maintain production-grade database systems, ensuring high reliability and performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer production-grade PostgreSQL and AWS RDS databases.
• Monitor database performance and proactively identify bottlenecks.
• Implement and manage DB partitioning, replication, automation, and sync setups.
• Write optimized SQL queries for data access and reporting needs.
• Manage primary/secondary DB sync and identify potential risks early.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration.
• Strong proficiency in SQL.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and AWS RDS.
• Solid understanding of database architecture and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of automation and failover strategies.
• Experience with Oracle.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with complex data sync setups.
