Description

You will manage and maintain Microsoft database environments across cloud and on-premises infrastructures.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform data migrations, upgrades, and modernizations across IaaS and PaaS environments.
• Execute performance tuning on Azure SQL Managed Instance and SQL Azure.
• Manage routine maintenance, data recovery, and database failover procedures.
• Configure and support Azure SQL in multi-region configurations.
• Set up and maintain Azure data warehouse environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration using Microsoft technologies.
• 2+ years of experience with data migrations and performance tuning on PaaS and IaaS.
• Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server on VM, Azure SQL Managed Instance, and Azure SQL.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server, SQL Query Analyzer, and SQL Azure.
• Strong understanding of RDBMS and SQL Server architecture.
• Experience managing Big Data and database migration projects.
• Knowledge of Azure cloud platform services.

Preferred Skills

• Azure certifications.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a related field.
