Database Administrator

You will manage database design, data modeling, and administration across multiple application environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and model databases using Oracle 11g/12c, DB-2, and Sybase.
• Develop and maintain SQL, PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Perform proactive and reactive performance tuning and monitoring throughout the SDLC.
• Manage installation and administration of high availability setups.
• Diagnose and resolve performance issues on HP UNIX and Sun Solaris platforms.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration.
• Expertise in Oracle 11g/12c and DB-2.
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience with Sybase and Application Server management.
• Hands-on experience with OEM, BMC-PATROL, and Embarcadero DBArtisan.
• Knowledge of warehouse benchmarking.
• Experience working on HP UNIX and Sun Solaris platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or BBA.
