Description

You will manage the lifecycle of critical database systems, ensuring performance, integrity, and successful cloud migration.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and patch on-premises, Amazon RDS, PostgreSQL, and Oracle databases.
• Implement backup and recovery strategies to maintain data integrity and high availability.
• Configure database replication using Oracle GoldenGate.
• Design database architecture and develop Python scripts for CloudFormation-based cloud deployments.
• Migrate on-premises databases to cloud environments using AWS DMS and SCT.

Required Skills

• 2+ years administering relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL).
• Proficiency with AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud platforms.
• Scripting and automation experience using Python.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code using AWS CloudFormation.
• Strong knowledge of Linux environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex query performance issues.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with Oracle GoldenGate replication.
