You will manage and maintain database infrastructure across AWS environments, ensuring stability and performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, migrate, and execute blue-green deployments for database upgrades.
• Plan and manage database instances on EC2, AWS Aurora, RDS MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Manage database replication and perform on-demand production-to-non-production refreshes.
• Tune and write stored procedures to support application requirements.
• Configure and manage HAProxy and Keepalived to maintain infrastructure stability.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in database administration.
• Expertise in MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, Aurora, and RDS.
• Strong replication management skills.
• Proficiency in shell scripting.
• Ability to write and optimize stored procedures.
• Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with MongoDB.
• Knowledge of Ansible and AWS CloudFormation.
• Experience configuring HAProxy and Keepalived.
