Description

You will manage and optimize MySQL, Redis, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB databases across on-premises and AWS environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain database systems including AWS managed services (RDS, Aurora, ElastiCache, DynamoDB).
• Implement replication and high-availability solutions tailored to application requirements.
• Automate infrastructure setup and routine tasks using Ansible and AWS CloudFormation.
• Design and operate monitoring systems using CloudWatch, PMM, Datadog, and MonYog to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with developers to optimize schemas and complex queries, and coordinate with DevSecOps for security patches.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience administering MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, and MongoDB.
• Proficiency with AWS Managed Database services: RDS, Aurora, ElastiCache, DynamoDB.
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools: Ansible, AWS CloudFormation.
• Strong skills in monitoring and alerting tools: CloudWatch, PMM, Datadog, MonYog.
• Competency in Shell Scripting or Python for automation and maintenance.
• Solid Linux administration skills.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
