Description

You will manage and maintain Oracle database environments across multi-node RAC and standalone configurations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage Oracle RAC and standalone environments, including migration from Solaris to Oracle Exadata.
• Implement and configure Active Data Guard physical and logical standbys alongside GoldenGate replication.
• Perform proactive and reactive performance analysis to ensure optimal production database stability.
• Develop UNIX shell scripts for daily and weekly backup jobs and archive log maintenance.
• Optimize SQL queries using trace files, TKPROF, and explain plans while managing memory and storage allocation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC.
• Proficiency with Oracle Exadata.
• Experience managing GoldenGate components including Extract, Replicat, and Trail files.
• Strong knowledge of Data Guard and replication management.
• Ability to write UNIX Shell Scripts for automation and backups.
• Experience using Data Pump and RMAN for export, import, and backup utilities.
• Experience working on RHEL and Solaris platforms.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree in Computer Science.
