Description

You will manage high-volume transactional systems and lead cloud migration efforts to Azure. This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Execute cloud migration projects from on-premises servers to Azure with minimal downtime.
• Design and maintain high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
• Implement database security, access controls, and auditing mechanisms.
• Optimize queries and indexing to resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Maintain monitoring solutions for real-time database health insights.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Database Operations.
• Strong proficiency with MS SQL Server, Postgres, Azure SQL, and Azure Synapse.
• Hands-on experience with ETL processes and Azure Data Factory.
• Deep knowledge of SQL and database performance tuning.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Terraform.
• Ability to script using PowerShell or Python.
• Experience managing databases in both cloud and on-premises environments.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Azure Analysis Services and Microsoft Fabric.
