Description

You will provide technology leadership for maintaining and optimizing the PLM database environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, manage, and administer Oracle application databases on clustered and non-clustered systems.
• Perform performance tuning on highly transactional databases and identify fine-tuning opportunities.
• Execute database upgrades and refreshes in coordination with the PLM application team.
• Conduct daily monitoring using OEM/PEM, ADDM, AWR reports, and Server Stats.
• Perform root cause analysis on database problem tickets and implement enterprise-wide solutions.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in database administration.
• Expertise in SQL and PL/SQL development and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency in automation and scripting.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes.
• Experience managing high-transaction environments and High Availability (HA) options.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to manage project execution, including issue resolution and team communication.
