Description

You will manage and maintain SQL Server and MySQL environments to ensure data integrity, security, and high availability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and manage multiple SQL Server environments, including monitoring and reporting solutions.
• Execute and validate database backups to meet RPO and RTO requirements.
• Manage the full SQL lifecycle, including routine patching, service packs, and major version upgrades.
• Troubleshoot SQL Server service outages and performance issues in real time.
• Automate daily tasks and maintain extensive documentation of DBA procedures using Git and GitHub.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in database administration.
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (2016 through 2019) and MySQL.
• Experience with data backups, data recovery, and SSIS package development.
• Proficiency in creating tables, tablespaces, triggers, views, and stored procedures.
• Hands-on experience with SSRS for reporting and customer data needs.
• Ability to write and execute custom SQL scripts and programming in various database languages.
• Technical expertise in Linux, AWS, Azure, VMware, Microsoft PowerShell, and VBScript.
• Experience maintaining databases in a production environment.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
