Description

You will manage and optimize database environments, focusing on design, integration, and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

  • Design and model relational data structures and implement core components.
  • Optimize and tune database performance for high-demand environments.
  • Automate backup, archival, and purging processes.
  • Reverse engineer legacy architectures to understand existing applications.
  • Execute data analysis for the migration of database objects and application data.
  • Perform requirement gathering and produce technical documentation and design specifications.

Required Skills

  • 12+ years of experience in database administration and data analysis.
  • Expertise in PostgreSQL or Oracle DB.
  • Proficiency in SQL for querying, analysis, and troubleshooting.
  • Deep knowledge of data modeling and relational data integration.
  • Experience developing and modifying stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages.
  • Hands-on experience with indexing and partitioning strategies.
  • Ability to perform reverse engineering on legacy systems.
  • Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

  • Basic knowledge of Cloud Architecture (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Experience with Snowflake and Python.
  • ETL development experience using SSIS.
