Description

You will manage and maintain Microsoft SQL Server environments to ensure data integrity and optimal performance.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Manage Microsoft SQL Server 2016/2019 environments, including installation, software analysis, and version conversions.
• Design and review logical and physical data models to support the system development life cycle.
• Execute data migrations, table loads, and stored procedure reviews to enhance performance.
• Develop and implement SSIS and PowerShell scripts for automation and data processes.
• Monitor database performance, space requirements, and security access to provide infrastructure recommendations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server (2016/2019).
• Hands-on experience writing and using PowerShell scripts and SSIS.
• Experience with data migration and logical/physical data modeling.
• Working knowledge of Azure DevOps for source control and task management.
• Ability to perform software analysis and system development life cycle support.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.

• Strong written and spoken communication skills for status reporting and team collaboration.
