Description

You will manage and optimize SQL Server instances across on-premises and cloud environments, ensuring high availability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, administer, and monitor SQL Server instances and Azure SQL Databases.
• Design and implement database backup, recovery, and high-availability strategies using AlwaysOn.
• Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks related to memory, CPU, and I/O.
• Execute database migrations from on-premises environments to Google Cloud or MS Azure.
• Manage database access, security, compliance policies, and automate routine processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration.
• Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL Database.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and T-SQL.
• Experience with SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS.
• Working knowledge of Google Cloud and MS Azure fundamentals.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and Azure Monitor.
• Familiarity with IT Service Management tools like ServiceNow (SNOW).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.

Preferred Skills

• DB Administration certifications on GCP or MS Azure.
